![]() Following two years of war, Chandragupta was considered to have obtained the high ground in the conflict and joined satrapies up to the Hindu Kush. Some time later, Chandragupta broadened and got his western line, where he was opposed by Seleucus I Nicator in the Seleucid-Mauryan War. He by then set off to vanquish the Nanda Empire centered in Pataliputra, Magadha. Chandragupta initially obtained nearby undeniable quality in the Greater Punjab region in the Indus. Chandragupta squashed and vanquished both the Nanda Empire, and the Greek satraps that were assigned or molded from Alexander’s Empire in South Asia. Going before his association of power, Alexander the Great had assaulted the North-West Indian subcontinent preceding abandoning his central goal in 324 BCE due to a revolt achieved by the chance of going up against another enormous domain, presumably the Nanda Empire. Chandragupta, under the tutelage of Chanakya, made another domain subject to the norms of statecraft, developed a gigantic outfitted power, and continued broadening the restrictions of his area until finally renouncing it for a plain life in his last years.
